Introduction
The Final Register of Electors for Rural Representative Election is published in October every year. If you are eligible for registration as an elector and wish to have your registration particulars included in this year’s Register, you should submit your application for registration on or before 16 July of this year. If the application form reaches the Home Affairs Department (HAD)/Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) after 16 July of this year, information provided therein will be processed when the provisional registers of the following year are compiled.
You may perform a search on this “Rural Representative Election Voter Registration Information Enquiry System” (the System) to see if you have been registered as an elector.
If you are a registered elector, you may perform a search on the System to enquire about the Rural Committee and Village/Market Town for which you have been registered as an elector in the 2020 Final Register of Electors.
If you have submitted the Application for New Voter Registration, you may also perform a search on the System to enquire about the status of your application.
Please be reminded that the System is provided for electors to check their own registered particulars only. Anyone who checks another elector’s registered particulars through the System without the latter’s prior written consent may contravene the relevant provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).
